Despite his very busy schedule, we had the opportunity to sit and talk with Armand Scott. Scott is the producer and director of Separated at Birth. An inner-city drama, Separated at Birth, is about an elementary school teacher telling a story to his students about twins that were separated at birth. Using this backdrop as a guise, he cleverly interjects a theme impressing upon his students the importance of career choices in life. One twin, Andre, gets the powerful privilege of money and influence; while his brother Simon, gets the sad dismal reality of a street life education.
Save the date because you don't want to miss the playing of Separated at Birth at the Gene Siskel International Black Harvest Film Festival on Saturday August 6th @ 8:30 and Wednesday August 10th @ 8:15.
